Hand painted on black cotton. It reads ‘1 U-Flotilla’. Also shows a U-Boat floating through a ‘U’. Machine sewn. Single sided. This is a fantastic piece of naval history. Low excellent condition.I founded 12 U-boat flags in box with WW2 Kriegsmarine stuff on estate sale. Other items you can see on other listings. The flag passed very important test - it does not glow under the black lamp(all fabrics after 1945 glow under the black light).On the last image at the bottom you can see red sign - U-boat badge from this 1U - Flotilla.
